- DVOMB Awards
CONGRATULATIONS
to the 2011 DVOMB Award Winners! If you know the individuals
below, please find a moment to congratulate them!
Gary Burgin Leadership Award Winner:
Susie Vail -- for her leadership in the area of domestic
violence in her work as a probation officer. She worked
diligently to design victim services within probation over
the years in addition to working with offenders. Susie is
currently a probation officer in Canon City.
Excellence in DV Victim Advocacy Award Winner:
Christine Garcia
-- for her excellent victim advocacy work as part of the
domestic violence offender treatment providers in the Denver
metro area as
well as her work with Child Protection Teams. In addition
to her private practice, Christine also coordinates the
Denver Fatality Review Committee.
A wonderful congratulations to them for their hard work,
dedication, and commitment to the field of domestic violence
offender treatment and victim safety!
