| ADVANCED TRAINING |
DESCRIPTION: The
Advanced Training is a two-day course that is required for
all community corrections case management and clinical staff

The course is required three (3) months after successful
completion of the formal SOA-R training. After staff have
been formally trained on the SOA-R process and have practical
experience with the SOA-R instruments and process, they
will return for two more days of advanced training. Trainees
will learn an advanced application of the SOA-R process.
Emphasis will be placed on several case studies in order
to provide a deeper and broader application of the SOA-R
process as well as case planning. Staff will not be considered to have completed
the SOA-R training until they have successfully completed
an Advanced Training course. |
PREREQUISITES:
To be eligible to attend the Advanced Training, trainees
must have successfully completed the two-day BASIC Training. Additionally, trainees must also have administered
