Formula Grant (Title II) began a three-year funding cycle with the 2009-2010 grants. Applicants that were successful in receiving funding are eligible for up to two additional years of funding contingent upon demonstrated progress and the availability of funds.

The next competitive solicitation for applications will be release in the spring of 2012. Applicants will be given approximately six weeks to submit applications. The JJDP Council will meet to make preliminary funding decisions in May/June and final decisions are made in August after the reconsideration process. Grant periods are October 1 through September 30.

It is highly recommended that you visit this website on a regular basis in case the timeline is adjusted and/or a new funding stream is made available.
